Imagine a world without honey bees. My sister lives in Northern Michigan, not too far from Traverse City.TC is known for its cherries and its National Cherry Festival held each Spring. http://www.cherryfestival.org/  She told me that this year Spring came about a month early.  Cherry trees blossomed and all seemed great except....it was too early for the bees.  There were no bees to pollinate the blossoms.  Consequently, there were no cherries.  Traverse City had to import cherries for its festival.  Imagine that.To learn more about bees and what life would be like without them go tohttp://www.haagendazs.us/Learn/HoneyBees/
